Here are good practice tips to prolong the overall life of tablets and their enclosures:

• Lower the screen brightness to the minimum necessary level.

• Setup schedule to dim the screen during off-hours

• Enable battery limits: iOS, Samsung tablets, Microsoft Surface Go

• Ensure the network switch is properly configured to provide the right amount of power to the tablet. If not, the switch may periodically be cutting power causing the enclosure electronics to continuously power cycle causing premature failure.
